Born and raised between the Cowichan Valley and Salt Spring Island, I have travelled/moved around a fair bit. I have put roots down in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver, and also spent winters living in Mexico or abroad.
I began plumbing at nineteen and that career carried me though a fifteen-year chapter with a whole lot of adventure and life enjoyment.
It had come time that I put stronger roots down and begin a new career that is fulfilling on levels that pertained to me personally; and so I got my real estate license and joined the Royal LePage community of Realtors at Duncan Realty.
Coming home to the Cowichan Valley to do this was the only option that made sense; this is where my heart has always resided.
From my plumbing background I bring with me into this position as Realtor, an eye for detail and distress in homes and a strong understanding of how a house is built and what good construction is.
From my own personality to this position as Realtor, I bring with me a sharp sense of what needs to be done to gain a desired result, a quick response and quick action on opportunity, a deep passion for doing the best job I can for my client, and communication that won’t leave you dissatisfied/and the knowing within you, my client, that you can speak your needs to me without limit.
My passion in life is embracing big moves of growth and supporting people in their aspirations towards what inspires them; this is where I truly come to life. My life has been one great transition after another and I embrace change wholeheartedly. If I can make the process of big moves, whether desired or undesirable, an enjoyable and easeful process, then I am doing my work in the world.
Sincerly your Realtor,
Karli Ann Fortin
